Sustainability matters to us

As lovers of the outdoors and this beautiful country of ours, we're passionate about making sure what we do doesn't come at a cost to the environment.

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle

Our products are designed to make the most complete use of materials as possible - offcuts from one provide materials for another. In this way we ensure we're making the most of these precious natural resources we're lucky enough to work with.

In a similar way, we look to other users of timbers to purchase their surplus or waste timber to ensure everything is put to use and not wasted.

Eco-friendly packaging

As part of the eco-friendly alliance, we ensure all of our packaging and shipping materials are compostable, recycled, or sometimes even both. You can find out more about our packaging choices here.

Source local, support local

We make a concerted effort to buy from local suppliers wherever possible - not only does this reduce transport emissions, it lets us support local businesses like us.

More Trees Please!

Through our partnership with Trees That Count, we plant a native tree for every order containing one of our wooden products to ensure we're making a positive impact on native species

Protecting what matters

We're proud to fund several predator traps on one of our favourite slices of paradise, Stewart Island, to help protect the incredible native species that thrive there.
