This modular screen involved a rare departure from native timbers, instead featuring South African Rosewood, along with magnetic hinges and a bunch of custom engraving.
Medal Holder
This commission was for a local runner to display their medals and race numbers. It's made from a selection of native timbers and features a laser-engraved custom centrepiece.
Coin Display
Commissioned as a gift for a serving member of the armed forces, this display unit in NZ Rimu combines a series of tiers to display coins in an upright position along with a felt-lined drawer for storing additional coins or medals.
Keepsake Box
This dovetailed kauri keepsake box was given the personal touch with multiple engravings selected by the customer, hinged with brass, and finished with danish oil to really make those rich kauri colours come alive.
Newspaper Boat
Such a fun build - this display piece lives down on Rakiura, Stewart Island and comprises steam-bent timber in the hull, Rimu for the lower deck and transom, and finally recycled Kauri for the deck.
